I picked up this ball at PetSmart, it DID squeak…for 2 whole days! LOL! Buffy is so silly.
Ever wonder how to get your puppy to tire themselves out? Oh, I found a way! (it’s a great break for everyone really – hahaa!) The KONG, which I picked up at PetSmart, is perfect for this.
Buffy LOVES it as you can see…
Buffy and I went for a hike a couple of weeks ago and then she had to have a bath…here’s how super adorable she was! …
Doing housework today, washing sheets, etc. Just realized how quiet is was, looked around…no puppy…? Hmmm. So, I went into my bedroom, ah ha!
Where is the coziest place she can find? The rumbled blankets that I threw off the bed to wash the sheets of course!
Today Buffy had her 1st hike!! 45 mins of mud, snow, sunshine, leaves, other dogs, smells, and laughter!
She was really unsure at first and was very princessy, “eww, um, there’s gross mud here, you can’t actually think I’m going to walk in it…?” but, by the mid-point she was much better!!
Can’t wait to take her when its warmer & less yucky!
We also had to have a bath when we got back (fyi, when I say “we”, I mean her)…she shivered and shook for over an hour after and her eyes were all bugged out while she tried to bite me more than ever. I think she may have been overly exhilarated…? Maybe? Once I forced her to sleep(by wrapping her in a comfy blanket and not letting her move off the couch) for about 2 hrs she was normal Buffy!! Yay!
Busy day for my little girl!
I received another of my orders from the Pawhaus Pet Boutique. Not only did they send me what I ordered but also a great tote bag (that I will totally use) and some poop pick up bags with little hearts! THANKS GUYS!
There is a small issue though…watch the video to find out what it is…
Buffy has officially learned how to shake a paw! Yay! This is now the approved way to get on the couch with me. First she has to sit, then give me her paw, then and only then is she allowed to lay with me on the couch.
Yesterday Buffy was spayed, had 2 teeth removed and was micro chipped! Phew! They said that, even though, I brought her in at 8:00am, she probably wouldn’t be ready to come home until about 5:30pm! Knowing that, I made a few appointments during the day so I wasn’t thinking about her the whole time. At 1:30pm I got a call from the vet, my heart sank because they were calling so early and I imagined the worst! They told me that somehow Buffy was completely awake and ready to go home! Haha! That’s my girl!
I am so happy to have her back! She was a bit out of it yesterday, but for the most part, she was herself. She got to eat today, which was very exciting for her…so much that I actually hand fed her because I was worried she choke herself!
All is well, Buffy is great!
